Every Saturday is Forest Fare Market day and First Saturday of the month is our big Craft and Farmers market – look out on our facebook page for special holiday markets. Stock up on fresh produce and home bakes. Traders welcome. Come light and shop local.

We work with partners to offer workshops on Ecology, Botany, Wellness, Raku Pottery Glazing and more. School groups are especially welcome. Book today.
Come to stay, eat, drink, shop, play or bird watch and leave renewed.
The campsite has 30 stands. Every stand is different and only 10 campsites have electrical points.
Sites all have lawns and trees. Some sites receive full morning sun and welcome shade in the afternoon, while others are shady in the morning and sunny later on. Sites away from the entrance offer peace and quiet while sites closer to the playground and tea garden provide shelter under enormous forest trees.
Our beautiful campsite is best shared and enjoyed in season, when we are busiest. If its absolute peace and quiet you’re after then please come in the off season.
WE ARE A NO MUSIC VENUE (unless by prior consent for functions) homemade music is fine, but drummers will be beaten!
NB: Yellowwood Forest holds busy craft markets during the December holidays on the 16th, 23rd, 28th Dec and 2nd of Jan (smaller markets are every Saturday). Market crowds and traders are focused from the campsite entrance to reception, the tea garden and play area – not in amongst the campsites. We encourage you to join in the spirit of things, however if you are intolerant of crowds and a festival atmosphere from 9-2pm, (traders set up their stalls noisily and early!) please don’t book to coincide with these dates. You may wake up to a bookshop or tasty food stall right next to your tent.

The Bush camp at the bottom of the campsite is thatched, wooden and particularly rustic. It is positioned perfectly between the trees and a huge Yellowwood, right on the river. It is cool and shaded but gets the best of the afternoon sun just in time for sundowners.
The bush camp has survived a number of floods contributing to its weather worn look and the interesting slant the building has developed over the years. Looks are deceptive however – The bush camp is sturdy and comfortable, making it the perfect getaway for relaxing to the sound of flowing water and bird song.
The unit has a small open deck with a table, chairs and 2 plate gas stove and kettle. Three stairs lead up into a single room with 2 big windows from which to view the forest. It has a double and single bed. There is a cupboard containing pots and pans, crockery and cutlery for 4 people. There is also an electric light and a plug point for charging electronics.
