The Tree House (Khaya Mithi)

The Tree House (Khaya Mhithi) is a multi-level rondavel at the end of the Magenta Place cul de sac, and situated on the edge of an indigenous forest. (Perfect for nature lovers and birders!)

Its own entrance has a space to store beach toys and a cool outdoor rinse shower for after fun in the sun. It has a small lounge, dining area, with a double daybed for lazing in and a kitted kitchenette on the ground floor, adjoining a bathroom with a gorgeous shower (no bath).

A spiral staircase leads up to the 1st Landing Bedroom with a double bed, then 4 steps lead to a 2nd Landing relaxing space and a few more steps to the Top Landing Bed loft, with a double mattress (for children of 6 years and above)

The Tree House is perfect for a couple or small family.

We have pets, but the Tree House has its own fenced off garden space for relaxing with braai facilities. We are situated a ten minute walk from the beach and local dining establishments, and a three minute walk from the lagoon.

There is a Canoe which guests are welcome to use.

We have a backup UPS for WiFi. There are loadshedding bulbs and our shower and cooking run on gas. A laundry service is available in nearby Kei Mouth.

The Tree House is attached to Art Studio 156, and we live on the property if guests need any assistance, though we are very respectful of privacy.

13 Dec 2023 – 17 Jan 2024:
R1200 per night for 2 guests + R100 per  guest over 12 thereafter

31 Mar – 12 Apr / 23 Jun – 18 Jul / 29 Sep – 10 Oct / Long weekends:
R1000 per night for 2 guests + R100 per guest over 12 thereafter

Rest of the year:
R800 per night for 2 guests + R100 per guest over 12 thereafter

2 children 12 and under stay free
There is a R200 surcharge for 1 night bookings

Children 12 and under stay free throughout the year (max. 2 children)
The Tree House hosts a Maximum of 4 guests
A standard once off housekeeping fee of R200 is levied for each stay.
There is a Domestic Service available on request which is R200 per service.
